Friday, April 17, 2026 Deadline to petition to graduate AND participate in the Spring 2026 commencement ceremony.
Monday, April 20, 2026 Deadline to purchase regalia
Thursday, May 21, 2026 GradFest
Friday, June 12, 2026 Commencement rehearsal
Saturday, June 13, 2026 Commencement ceremony
ALL GRADUATION INFORMATION WILL BE EMAILED TO YOUR IVC STUDENT EMAIL ACCOUNT, PLEASE
ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE ACCESS TO IT AND CHECK IT REGULARLY.
COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY:
Tentatively, there is one ceremony scheduled for the Spring 2026 semester. We will
keep graduates updated via IVC email.
REHEARSAL:
Spring 2026 Ceremony: Your rehearsal ceremony will take place on Friday, June 12, 2026. Time: TBD
The rehearsal is MANDATORY.
TICKET INFORMATION:
At this time, we do not have the number of tickets that will be given to each graduate. All guests will be required to have an admission ticket regardless of age as this
is set forth by the fire code. Tickets will be distributed via email. If tickets are lost or misplaced, IVC cannot replace tickets as we do not have extra
tickets. Counterfeiting, falsifying or copying commencement admission tickets will result in
the guest(s) being denied entry into the ceremony. If a graduate opts to purchase or sell their tickets, we ask that you please do so
with caution as IVC does not condone nor assume any responsibilities for these sales
whatsoever.
LIVESTREAM:
We understand that this is a milestone event for students and know the importance
of sharing this celebration with family and friends. IVC will have the commencement
ceremony livestreamed on the College’s main website at www.imperial.edu.
REGALIA ORDERS:
All regalia orders must be placed through the College’s vendor. Purchasing your regalia
is your confirmation in participating in the commencement ceremony. The purchasing
link will be made available to prospective graduates through their IVC student email
account.
Please continue to monitor your IVC student email account for all commencement updates.
Regalia and ticket pick up information will be emailed to those who have confirmed
their attendance to the ceremony as commencement nears.
STOLES:
Please note that stoles are NOT included in your commencement package. Some campus
programs and/or clubs may provide their students with graduation stoles and graduates
will need to contact the program and/or club advisor regarding obtaining their stole.
Additionally, IVC does not sell stoles, however, students may purchase them on their
own through a vendor of their choosing but must adhere to the guidelines set forth
by the Student Affairs Office. Please see the attached document for stole guidelines.
CEREMONY ACCOMMODATIONS:
Prospective graduates will receive an email regarding guest accommodation after placing
their regalia order.
GUEST INFORMATION:
Admission to the ceremony will be by ticket only. Each guest must present an admission ticket to the assigned ceremony- this includes
babies and young children.NO EXCEPTIONS! All children MUST be accompanied by an adult. Tickets areNOT interchangeable between the two ceremonies. No food or drinks will be allowed at the ceremony. No air horns, whistles or other noise makers will be permitted into the gym. Leis & stoles should be given to the graduate prior to the ceremony. Absolutely no balloons will be allowed in the gym. Strollers will not be allowed at the ceremony as they create a safety hazard, and
we ask guests to please plan accordingly as guests will not be permitted to enter
with a stroller.
CAP DECORATION:
Cap decorations are permitted but must adhere to the IVC guidelines emailed to graduates.
