Bookstore Transition
IVC is transitioning to a fully online bookstore to give students greater convenience, faster access to materials, and more flexible shopping options. This model allows 24/7 ordering, expanded digital and rental options, and direct delivery to your home.
The on-campus bookstore will transition fully online on January 10, 2026. After this date, the physical store will no longer be the primary place to buy textbooks or supplies. Limited items may still be available in the Library.
Finding Your Materials
Visit www.ImperialValleyStore.com and enter your Student ID, or search by course name or CRN.
If nothing appears yet:
It means your class uses Open Educational Resources—you will not need to purchase a textbook. Your instructor will provide links to free materials.
Ordering & Payment
As early as possible! Ordering early helps ensure that materials arrive before classes begin—especially important for Winter and 8-Week Spring sessions. Shipping typically takes 3–7 business days.
You’ll receive two emails:

Most orders arrive within 3–7 business days with standard shipping.
Ground shipping is free on orders over $99.
Expedited options are available for an added cost.
Use the tracking link provided in your confirmation email. Most orders ship via UPS or USPS.
Rentals & Returns
Yes! Most textbooks are available to rent in both print and digital formats. A credit card or debit card is needed for collateral.
Yes. Refunds are available if the book is in resalable condition:
If you drop a class, you may return the book until the end of the drop/add period with proof of drop.
Unopened computer hardware or software can be refunded or exchanged within 14 days of purchase.
