Spencer Library has a large and diverse collection of sources available in both print and digital formats. You may use the search bar on the library’s homepage to search our full collections of print and digital resources (books, articles, films and more) or use one of our specialized databases.
If there is a resource that you believe would support the IVC community, please let us know.
The Course Reserves service allows instructors to make course material available to students for a short loan period (usually two hours, library use only). Use the Course Reserve Request Form to temporarily add your personal materials to our course reserves collection. Textbooks can be extremely expensive so allowing students to borrow course materials can help students more easily afford the cost of attending college.
Current faculty, staff, and students may request books and journal articles that the library does not own through the Interlibrary Loan Program. If the item is available from another library, the loan duration is determined by the lending library. When it’s time to return the item, please return it directly to the library staff.
With dean approval, part-time faculty may borrow a laptop for the semester. Please have your dean complete this PT Faculty Laptop Approval form. All items are due on the last day of the semester/term.
