Welcome to Imperial Valley College. It is an honor to serve as Interim Superintendent/President and join a college community deeply committed to its students and the Imperial Valley. I look forward to meeting our students, faculty, staff and community partners while learning more about the people, programs and services that make IVC such an important part of the region.
Over the coming months, my focus will be on advancing the tenets of IVC’s Vision 2030 Comprehensive Master Plan, maintaining clear and open communication, and providing stable leadership as the search for the college’s permanent Superintendent/President moves forward.
IVC stands among the top community colleges in the nation, earning the 2023 Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence and the 2025 Carnegie “Opportunity College and University” designation. With more than 90 degree and certificate programs, strong university partnerships and innovative workforce initiatives, the college provides opportunities for students to succeed while strengthening the Imperial Valley. I am committed to supporting this important work and building on the progress already underway.
As I spend time on campus and throughout the Imperial Valley, I look forward to listening, learning and working collaboratively to support IVC and the vital community it serves.
